Welcome to the Open Secret season site!

What are Secret Centre and Open Secret?

Secret Centre Theatre is a theatre company based in London, launched by Dan Horrigan.  This site contains some background on the company, and pages on some of the work presented over the past few years.

The first Open Secret season was a month-long run of events in London, from August to September 2006, to showcase the work of Secret Centre Theatre and others.  Produced by Tod Higginson and Dan Horrigan, work presented included

The Counterfeiters' Tragedy
, a new Jacobean pastiche by a 'mystery' female playwright; Radio Readings and shorts work, presenting new writing in the raw; Better Forget, a one-act play developed especially for the season by Laura Evers Johns; together with music and workshop events.  The season presented 33 hours of performance across 26 days.  Find out more about this unusual season of live performance and mixed media work, using the links above, or via the sitemap HERE, or with the at-a-glance links below.  For more information about the background of the Open Secret season, check out the history HERE.
