The Just

To measure up to your ideal, to be truly worthy of it,
you have to die for it.  That's the justification.

Presented in October 2007, The Just is a new version of the classic Camus play, translated and adapted by Benjamin Polya and directed by Dan Horrigan.

Playing to capacity houses at London's White Bear Theatre, the pre-revolutionary Russian setting provides some telling parallels with contemporary extremism, while the gripping narrative of a plot to assassinate the Grand Duke twists and turns until the play's electric closing moments.
